Episode 20- Color Me Bad

We hoped last week would be the only time we covered Rachel Dolezal on the podcast, but that proved to be wishful thinking.  In this episode we vent some  of our frustration on Dolezal’s refusal to admit she is not black.  Also, we squeezed in quite a few news stories on a recent government data breach, another pool incident with cops, and a few movie and comic reveals.

Episode 19 – Confused

Is race a social condition or biological?  Apparently some people are confused on this point.  We talk about the controversy in Spokane and the pool party incident in Texas.

For entertainment, we discuss color blindness in video games and media in general.

Episode 13 – Make it Stop!

I think episode 13 is one of our best yet.  Congress finally passed a significant bill, after four years of inaction and we discuss our opinions on the matter.  Later, we look at the case surrounding the death of Eric Harris.  A reserve deputy accidentally killed Harris during a sting.

Our entertainment section covers the new Rocky movie and the excellent Daredevil show on Netflix.

Episode 12 – Candid Camera

Last week another unarmed black man was shot by a cop.  Matt and I examine the footage and story surrounding the case of Walter Scott.  Also, we talk about the Guatemalan medical experiments that followed that shared similarities with the Tuskegee Experiment.  For the entertainment section, we give a quick rundown of our impression of the Fast Seven movie and Daredevil TV show on Netflix.  Look below for links to all the stories covered in this episode.

Episode 11 – Imminent Threats

I apologize for the month long delay between episodes.  I was out of town for work and had numerous technical issues that prevented me from posting the podcast.  Matt and I did record during the break, for all but one week.  The sound quality was not great so I am posting our newest episode.  We may post the older episodes later if I can massage the sound files enough.

In this episode Matt and I share what Americans see as the greatest threat to our way of life.

Enjoy.

Episode 8 – Gentrified

Sorry for the slight delay.  This week Matt and I rant about the anti-vaccination campaign.  Why are there counties in California with lower levels of vaccination than third-world countries?  These are, supposedly, educated people.  Also, we talk about an article that states gentrification is a myth.  Do you agree?  To round out the episode we cover Suge Knights arrest for murder and the usual entertainment round up.

Episode 7 – Cuba Libre

This was one of our best episodes yet.  Matt and I talk about the thawing relations between America and Cuba.  Also, we cover the decision to vacate arrests warrants from 1962, for the “Friendship Nine.”

On a lighter note, we give our impressions on the new Fantastic Four movie, as we pick apart the new trailer.
